GAIN's 2nd annual 2 FAST, 2 FURRIEST 5K/2K

Join Guam Animals In Need (GAIN) on their 2nd annual 2 Fast 2 Furriest 5k & 2k Doggy Dash, presented by Suburu.

The event will be held on Sunday, October 14th (Event starts at 5 a.m.; race starts at 6 a.m.) at the Paseo de Susana Park in Hagatna.

According to their release. The 2k doggy dash is a fun walk/jog. In order to encourage safety, there are no awards for the fastest finishers in the 2k portion. But all doggy participants will receive a race bandana. All dogs must be non-aggressive, fully vaccinated, and leashed at all times.

Due to safety reasons, such as the risk of contracting parvo disease, we're sorry to say that no puppies are allowed.

Bibs are available for two weeks prior to the event at either Fetch Pet Boutique in Hagatna, or the GAIN Animal Shelter in Yigo. Bibs may also be picked up the morning of the race, though we recommend arriving early to avoid the rush.

There is a $15 fee per runner and $40 for a group of 4. Proceeds will go toward the non-profit's animal shelter and Spay/Neuter Island Pets (SNIP) program.
